My injury worries are now over – Akwa United’s European returnee, Etyboy Akpan

Akwa United winger Etyboy Akpan says he has shaken off the knock that has ruled him out since the commencement of the new league season.
Akpan who only returned from Europe after a stint with NK Rudar in Slovenia impressed in pre-season only to get injured in training few days to the league opener against Rangers.
Speaking to NEWS LINK SPORTS on Tuesday, the exciting winger said he has started training and is set to repay the faith Akwa United had in him by signing him up.
“I have completely recovered and I can’t wait to get on the field to prove my worth.
“I thank my team, Akwa United for bringing me here and standing by me when I was injured. I will surely repay this faith”, he said.
Akwa United are currently in Lokoja getting set to face Niger Tornadoes in Week 4 of the new npfl season. The Aiteo Cup Champions will then return home to confront npfl returnees Kwara United who just made the leap from the NNL. The Week 5 fixture against Kwara United will take place at the Nest of Champions, Uyo on Sunday.
