Uyo will support Gov Udom, Senator OBA come 2019 -Samuel Effanga

A one time Commissioner for Science and Technology and a Chieftain of PDP , Hon Samuel Effanga has stressed that the people of Uyo federal constituency will totally align with the position of stakeholders of Akwa Ibom North East (Uyo) Senatorial District in endorsing for second term of Gov Udom Emmanuel and Senator Bassey Albert (OBA) after an enlarged stakeholders meeting recently.

Effanga made this known recently at his country home in Uyo when he hosted friends and political associates in the spirit of the festive season. His words ” Let me bring to your notice that stakeholders of Uyo Senatorial District at the constituency office of Senator Bassey Albert (OBA) met and resolved on a lot of issues as it affects the politics of the State and Akwa Ibom North East (Uyo) Senatorial District. The position of Uyo Senatorial District is that Gov Udom Emmanuel and Distinguished Senator Bassey Albert (OBA) should go for a second term come 2019 because of their superlative performances in office. This is the message that must go down to all nooks and crannies of Uyo Senatorial District. We the stakeholders were impressed with the landing of Senator OBA during the meeting which is why l want all of you to share with me ”.

The Uyo born politician hinted that very soon a socio political group will be formally made known named Pan Akwa Convention with a core idea of working for the re-election of Gov Udom Emmanuel come 2019 and will have structures across board. He noted that PDP is a solid party that will ensure the sufferings of Nigerians are history from 2019 when the party returns to power and urged the faithful to remain steadfast.

Also speaking at the event, Mr Daniel Udoh alias North South, Chairman of Senator Bassey Albert (OBA) constituency office said he keys into the thinking of Hon Samuel Effanga as Uyo must stand for equity in allowing our Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel conclude his second term before power thereafter returns to Uyo Senatorial District.

Speaker after speaker including Obong Sunny Elijah, Mr Anietie Iyoho, Obongawan Helen Ekefre, the Paramount Ruler of Uyo Political platform, Obong Augustine Ikpe all alluded to the position of stakeholders of Uyo Senatorial District in endorsing both Gov Udom Emmanuel and Senator Bassey Albert (OBA) for second term .
