Nsit Atai Advocacy Forum: Her swindler blackmails on Rt. Hon. Mark Esset

It is actually horrendous that one can frequently get to read some twaddle on the social media authored by a group of clueless and nonentities just to murder someone’s hard earn reputation.
Normally, in my style of journalism, I hardly join issues especially when it holds no water and lacking substance and merit. But to serve the minds of the good people of the state and Nsit Atai in particular from being poisoned by a faceless group simply identified as ‘Nsit Atai Advocacy Forum’ on their ongoing blackmailing campaigns on social media to tarnish the image of the Immediate past Executive Chairman and Member Representing Nsit Atai State Constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Mark Esset.
I have read several charlatan utterances published by the said group on one of the social media platform ‘facebook’ claiming that Rt. Hon. Mark Esset while serving as Chairman of Nsit Atai, burgled Nsit Atai student’s Bursaries. They claimed that, Mark Esset is in possession of the student’s bursaries from 2012 till date and they are gathering facts to nail him, also urging the students from Nsit Atai to prepare as the group will lead a massive protest to AKHA and Governor’s Office, respectively and as well stating that Hon. Mark Esset lavished Nsit Atai resources on trips abroad and on his personal asset.
For me, the above claims are slanting on a very false foundation, and a move to damage and as well to put the name of this dynamic lawmaker, Rt. Hon. Mark Esset in bad light by frustrated politicians in other to achieve their cheap political goals.
First, I want to challenge this anonymous group who preferred to hide under the platform of ‘facebook’ which is said to be led by one naïve recognized as Emmanuel Bassey to identify his or herself to the public.
The said publications by the group are not only malicious, but the handiwork of the detractors who are worried about the rising profile of Rt. Hon. Mark Esset and dividends of democracy that he had attracted to the people of Nsit Atai while serving as the Council Chairman.
Rt. Hon. Mark Esset is one of the new set of leaders that Nigerians sorely needs. As a vibrant leader, he is imbued with the concept of the common good and what and how a leader can deploy the awesome powers of government to affect lives positively and change the governance as viewed by the people.
In 2012, when he took over the mantle of leadership, he came strictly with the mindset to offer selfless service to the people and he did just that. Just like the biblical Moses, Rt. Hon. Mark Esset is a leader whom was sent by God to deliver the people of Nsit Atai Local Government from the hands of the symbolic Egyptians. Before his assumption of office, the people of Nsit Atai were plummeted into social, economic and political bondage by some disgruntled elements.
When God saw the afflictions, outcries, pains, sufferings and oppressions done to the people of the area, he decided to restore the lost glory of the land by choosing Rt. Hon. Mark Esset to the number one seat of the Nsit Atai and as well salvage the land from the hands of self-centered and greedy politicians.
As a man with a golden heart who always have the interest of his people at heart, Rt. Hon. Mak Esset, when he assumed office embarked on several developmental and life touching projects which have turned around the fortune of Nsit Atai Local Government Area today. Even the worst of critics have officially agreed that since Esset assumed office as Chairman, peace and tranquility have returned to Nsit Atai. The people of the area have witnessed effective and purposeful leadership.
Hon. Mark Esset, within his tenure proved that leadership and selfless service are Siamese twins that one can only defy to split at the peril of his political career. His diligent and commitment toward the growth and development of the area endeared him to his people.
He is not given to unnecessary ostentatious or indecent or conspicuous wealth. Even his demeanor or conduct while in office as a chairman was tailored to what can be described as “a servant leader”. He sees himself as a leader whom God had lifted to provide selfless service to his people, which so far he has done in an exceptional manner. As one of the most hardworking chairman then and the current Member Representing Nsit Atai State Constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, he has remained committed to his determination to drive Nsit Atai Local Government to a greater height.
Rt. Hon. Mark Esset is a man of vision who has decided to give his all to his fatherland and humanity. He is a leader with exemplary leadership qualities.
The said stories and online media campaign are ill-conceived attempt to malign and put his name in bad light. Therefore, the fruitless effort of desperate enemies and agents of progress cannot stop the march of the people of Nsit Atai into freedom through their preferred leader, Rt. Hon. Mark Esset.
